We understand your struggle, dear friend, and we are here to support you in prayer and truth. You've taken the first step by acknowledging your need for help and not relying on your own strength. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 WEB, "Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."
Let us pray for you:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend who is battling with addiction to meth. Lord, they have tried in their own strength and have realized that they need Your divine intervention. We ask that You break the chains of addiction in their life. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them the power to overcome this stronghold. Surround them with supportive and godly friends who can encourage and hold them accountable. Guide them to the right resources and professionals who can assist them physically and emotionally. Most importantly, Lord, draw them closer to You, that they may know the freedom and love that only comes from a personal relationship with Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is in His precious name that we pray. Amen.*
We encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He is the one who can set you free. In John 8:36 WEB, Jesus said, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." Trust in Him, and He will give you the strength to overcome.
As a next step, we advise you to seek godly counsel and support. Connect with a local church, support groups, or Christian professionals who specialize in addiction recovery. They can provide you with practical steps and biblical guidance.
Lastly, we want to ensure that you know the source of true freedom and salvation. If you haven't already, confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB). This is the first step towards true and lasting freedom.
Stay strong, and remember that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26 WEB).
