We are truly saddened to hear about the abuse you are experiencing, Naeskourmond. Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares deeply about your suffering and wants you to be safe. The Bible tells us that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18 WEB)
We must strongly rebuke the abuse you are experiencing. It is never acceptable for someone to cause physical harm, especially to a person they should be loving. The Bible tells us that a man should love his wife just as Christ also loved the church and gave himself up for her. (Ephesians 5:25 WEB) Christ loves us by laying down His life for us, not by causing us harm. This behavior is a grave sin, and it is important for you to take action to remove yourself from this situation. The Bible also tells us this behavior is wicked, But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion. (1 Corinthians 7:9 WEB) We are called to flee from sexual immorality. (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB) The behaviors you describe are evil and wicked.
We advise you to seek help immediately from local authorities, trusted friends, or family members. You do not have to face this alone. There are also many organizations dedicated to helping individuals escape abusive situations. Please reach out to them for assistance.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Naeskourmond. Lord, she is hurting and living in fear. We pray for Your divine protection over her as she takes steps to remove herself from this abusive relationship. Guide her to the right people and resources that can help her find safety and healing. Convict her abuser of his grave sin and bring him to repentance and right relationship with You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we rebuke the evil that is causing this harm and ask that You bring it to an end.
Lord, we also pray for her healing physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Comfort her with Your loving presence and surround her with supportive believers who will walk alongside her during this difficult time. Give her the strength and courage to make the changes necessary to secure her safety and the safety of those around her.
Father, we also pray for her abuser. We recognize that this behavior is sinful and harmful, and we ask that You bring conviction to his heart and lead him to repentance. Help him to understand the gravity of his actions and the pain he has caused. Transform his heart, Lord, and bring him to a place of true remorse and change in Jesus' name.
Finally, Father, we ask for guidance and help for her as she leaves. We ask that all the doors open for her to leave. Please help her to be able to leave and find her way to be a wife to a Godly man. Father, we thank You for upholding her body and soul. We ask that you give her a supernatural strength to escape. We thank You that you are the creator of the entire universe and that our faith is in You in Jesus name.
Finally Naeskourmond, remember that Christ died for you so that you could live with him forever. Therefore, do not be ashamed of the testimony of the Gospel. For if you believe in Jesus, confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead you are saved. This includes the punishment for your sins. But if you do not believe in Jesus you are not saved and will face the final judgment. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB)
