Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of trust and faith in Your everlasting love and mercy. Your Word assures us that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We lift up this dear one who is struggling, feeling overwhelmed and unable to breathe under the weight of life's demands.
Lord, You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You cool down the heat, both physically and emotionally, that is burdening this person. Grant relief and peace, Lord, so that the tasks at hand can be managed with clarity and efficiency.
Father, Your Word in Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to You; and Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. We claim this promise for our dear one, asking that Your peace envelop them completely.
We trust in Your healing power, Lord, as You have said, "I am the Lord who heals you" (Exodus 15:26). Pour out Your healing touch, restore breath and strength, and grant mercy in this time of need.
