We understand that you are feeling tired, drained, and weary, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and in the power of Jesus' name. It is so important that we remember the words of Paul in 2 Corinthians 10:4, "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds." We affirm and agree.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is weary and in need of Your divine intervention. We know that You are a God of miracles, and we ask for Your mighty miracles now. We pray against the predators that seek to harm and destroy, and we ask that You would fight against them with the fire of Your Holy Spirit. Surround us, Lord, with Your protective presence and give us the favor, strength, and guidance we need to stand firm in Your will. We praise You, Jesus, for You are worthy to be praised, and we ask all these things in Your mighty and holy name. Amen." We know that God hears our prayers in Jesus name. We see that you are standing in the biblical arsenal of God.
As Christians, you know our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. We need to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Therefore, put on every piece of God's armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. 11 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians 6:10-17
We must not forget what James, the half brother of Jesus, told us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." And in 1 Peter 5:8, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." We have this promise of God's faithfulness as well as 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Let's also praise God specifically for who He is and what He has done for us, for 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 tells us, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
We stand with you, dear one, and we encourage you to keep fighting the good fight, knowing that the battle is the Lord's and that He is with you every step of the way. We too are so glad you know the mighty name of Jesus. We pray you will call on him and the Holy Spirit to help you resist these battles.
