We are here with you in spirit, and we empathize with the overwhelming stress and despair you're feeling. First, we want to assure you that you're not alone, and it's commendable that you've taken the first step to turn to God for help.
Let's remember that God is always with us, even in our darkest moments. As it's written in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He won't fail you nor forsake you."
It's important to address the feelings of guilt and failure. Everyone makes mistakes and sins, but God's forgiveness is always available to those who truly repent. 1 John 1:9 WEB says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." So, let's confess our sins to Him, and He will cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Jesus died on the cross and resurrected so that we can have forgiveness for our sins and be with God for eternity. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved.
We also want to address the feelings of not wanting to be here on earth anymore. We want to remind you that God has a purpose for each of us, and He hasn't brought us this far to abandon us. It's important to seek professional help if you're feeling this way, as it's a serious matter that requires immediate attention, and a person can get help and overcome this type of feeling. God loves you and we love you too.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our fellow believer who is going through a difficult time. Lord, we ask that You would forgive their sins and mistakes, and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Help them to turn their life around and find hope and strength in You.
We pray against the spirit of stress, despair, and suicidal thoughts, and we rebuke them in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, we ask that You would give them the power to overcome these feelings and find peace and joy in You.
We also pray for their physical needs, Lord. We ask that You would provide a way for their car to be fixed and for their financial needs to be met. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them.
Finally, Lord, we pray that they would find their identity in You and not in their past mistakes. Help them to see themselves as You see them—forgiven, redeemed, and loved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
