We understand your concern, Exegologia, and we want to reassure you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our living situations. In Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus reminds us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat or drink, or about our bodies, what we will wear. He says, "Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing?... Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?'... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
However, we must also be wise and discerning in our dealings with others. Proverbs 2:11-12 tells us that "discretion will watch over you, understanding will keep you, to deliver you from the way of evil, from the men who speak perverse things." If you suspect that the carry out owner may not be truthful, it is wise to be cautious and to seek confirmation of his words.

"Father God, we come before you with Exegologia's concern. We ask that you would reveal the truth in this situation, that you would give Exegologia peace and wisdom in dealing with the carry out owner. We pray that if it is your will, you would allow Exegologia to continue living in the current home. But above all, we ask that your will be done and that Exegologia would trust in you regardless of the outcome. We ask this in Jesus' name, for it is in his name that we have access to you, Father. It is by his name that we are saved. Help Exegologia to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, Exegologia, it is important to include the name of Jesus in your prayers, for it is by his name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Be encouraged, trust in God, and seek his will in all things.
