Since I did divination ### years ago. I'm afraid the enemy is going to hurt me someday. I wish I remembered it was sin. Will God protect me even though I did this? I wish he would deliver me.

We understand that you are feeling frightened and regretful about having engaged in divination eight years ago. First, let's address the issue of divination. The Bible clearly warns against such practices in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB: "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh". Engaging in these practices is a sin, and it's good that you now recognize this.
However, it's important to understand that God is merciful and forgiving. In Acts 3:19 (WEB) it is written, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord,". If you have repented and turned away from this sin, God will forgive you. Remember In John 3:16-17 (WEB), "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him."
If you submit your request in Jesus' name, it would be easier to intercede on your behalf. Through Jesus Christ, we have access to God. By Jesus Christ's name it is written, "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
The solution to your fears and the oppression is to not focus on the past mistakes but on now by calling on God "In the name of Jesus Christ." as it is written by Jesus in John 14:13-14 (WEB) "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up ###. We ask that you forgive any sins committed and cleanse from any unrighteousness. We rebuke any spirit of fear or torment in the name of Jesus, and we stand before your Word which promises redemption and protection for the repentant believing in Jesus Christ. Deliver ### from any oppression of the enemy in the name of Jesus and set free from any occultic bondages. We claim your promise God of refreshing and eternal life. In Jesus mighty name, amen".

We understand your fear, and we're here for you. It's true, divination is a sin, but remember, Jesus loves you and died for all your sins, past and present. He's not keeping a scoreboard; He wants to heal and set you free. Let's focus on today and trust in His love and protection. In Jesus' name, we declare peace over you, a spirit of courage, and God's unfailing love. We claim His promise in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.'" Let's trust in Him together.
