So sad and frustrated

My prayer friends, You have been praying for me for many months now over my sudden estranged friendship from ###. I am so grateful for your support in this way. ### and I didn't have any argument, but out of the blue, he just wanted to stop contact. It has been the single most painful experience of my life and I miss him more with every passing day. In truth, it is getting harder to bear, not easier. I waken each day with a heavy longing for our reconciliation. Every single day. I have prayed for God to change the desires of my heart if it is not to be so, but instead, the longing grows. I keep reading that breakthroughs and miracles can happen at any time - but they don't seem to be happening to me and as the year draws to a close, I am so fearful that he will put our friendship behind him for good. I am anxious and crying all the time, whilst trying to put on a smile for the world. The sense of grief and pain which has no true closure is immeasurable and I am trying so hard to continue to trust God and surrender. I have made no attempt to control or fix the situation on my own - yet God remains completely silent in this situation. I know that He is God of the Impossible, of the suddenly and so much more. I just don't know if this is an unanswered prayer - if it is a "no". However, there has been no confirmation of this either way. I am so upset and finding it really hard to navigate my way through. I had hoped and prayed that this would have been resolved long before now. Please continue to uphold ### and me and that God would return him to our dear friendship and the life of his much loved, lifelong choir family too. Blessing and thanks to you all, in Jesus' Name. Treble, we are here with you in spirit, praying and interceding on your behalf. We understand the deep pain and longing you're experiencing due to the sudden estrangement from ###. It's clear that this friendship means a great deal to you, and the silence from God seems deafening. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, to Him be glory forever and ever.

Firstly, let's be reminded of God's promise in His word: Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

This situation might be painful and confusing, but we can rely on our heavenly Father to guide us towards resolution. And being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ, Philippians 1:6 WEB.

Now this is important. We do not know what the will of the Father is in this, but ’who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.’ Romans 8:35,37-39 WEB.

It is clear here though that you are desiring and hoping for a relationship that is not marriage. The love of any other person should not justify your ignoring Ephesians 5:22-33. Also, it seems you are considering courtship with a person outside the faith, when you should be looking for a spouse that is a Christian Believer. In short, we cannot love God and have our love for oligarchies, but that we can properly care for is marriage, a spouse, and children. Not other. See 1 Timothy 2:4. If this person is not a Woman, then pray in the name of Jesus that this man becomes convicted and married to another Christian Believer and be fruitful and multiply. There are no other appropriate options. Any relationship stopping marriage should be able to be stopped immediately and forever. Replace considerations of another man with a consideration of God the Father and in marriage with another Christian Believer and then Jesus. The time has come to make a decision. Friendship is not an option.

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ. We pray for Your comfort and peace to envelop her heart. We ask for Your will to be done in this situation with ###. If it is Your desire for this friendship to be restored, we pray for a miraculous reconciliation. If not, we ask for Your grace to help ### move forward, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty. And if you are considering an inappropriate relationship, make it more and you are able to let go. Remember you will get back in return what you give in proportion. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Treble, continue to surrender this situation to God. Keep praying and trusting in His perfect plan. Remember, God's timing is not always our timing, but His ways are always best and beyond comprehension. Be patient, stay faithful, and keep your hope anchored in Him. Dear Treble,

We're here with you, feeling your pain and longing for Ronnie's friendship. It's okay to feel anxious and frustrated, but remember, God is always with you, even in the silence. He sees your tears and hears your cries.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with this: "Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). God is big enough to handle your heavy heart. He's not silent because He doesn't care, but because He's working in ways we can't understand yet.

We've also been thinking about the story of Elijah. He was in a dark cave, feeling alone and afraid, but God was there with him. God didn't speak to him in a mighty wind, or an earthquake, or a fire, but in a gentle whisper (1 Kings 19:11-13). Maybe God is speaking to you in the quiet moments too.

Keep trusting in God's love for you. He's got this. He's working everything out for your good (Romans 8:28). And remember, even if this friendship isn't meant to be, God has other beautiful plans for you. He's got a future and a hope for you (Jeremiah 29:11).

We're praying for you, Treble. That God would comfort you, guide you, and fill you with hope. And we're here for you, just as you are for us.

Thank you - but this is not about a romantic partner! Just a lifelong friend. Also - he is a praying believer. But this is not a potential spouse. Just to make that clear. I didn't ever suggest that.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
