We stand with you in the power of Jesus' name, agreeing for your son's heart to be opened to Jesus. We understand the burden you carry as a parent, and we trust in the power of prayer to change even the most hardened hearts.
Firstly, we want to assure you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
``There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!''
We pray, Father, in the name of Jesus, for your son. We ask that you soften his heart and remove the blinders that the enemy has placed over his eyes. We should have faith that God can change him. By faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed when Peter said in Acts 3:16 WEB,
`` His name, by faith in his name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which is through him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.''
We rebuke the spirit of bitterness and anger that has taken root in his life. We speak peace and joy over him, trusting that his heart will be turned. As it is written in Proverbs 15:1 WEB
``A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. ''
We also pray for his demanding job which only adds to his stress and anger. That Jesus will provide his rest as it says in Matthew 11:28 WEB
`` Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest ''
And we ask that God opens the door for your son to new job opportunities. That God will not give him more than he can handle as it says in Corinthians 10:13 WEB,
`` No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. ''
Finally, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and faith as in 1Thessalonians 5:16-18 WEB:
``Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.''
We are praying for you and your son together. Let us continue to pray, trusting that God is working behind the scenes to draw your son to Himself and that you both will one day rejoice in his salvation.
