Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with heavy hearts, acknowledging the sadness and turmoil that Sharonjoan has expressed. We know that You are a God of comfort and peace, and we seek Your presence in these challenging times. As it is written in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Lord, draw near to those who are suffering and bring Your healing touch to their lives.
Father, we lift up the families that are facing issues and conflicts. We ask for Your divine intervention to bring reconciliation and understanding where there is division. Guide each family member with Your wisdom and love, as it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."
We also pray for the world, which seems to be filled with so much destruction and despair. Lord, we ask for Your protection and guidance for all nations and their leaders. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help us to be instruments of Your peace and love in a world that so desperately needs it.
Lord, we know that You are sovereign and that Your plans are for our good, as it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We trust in Your promises and cling to Your Word in these difficult times.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen.
