So many prayers. Here’s a prayer answered first

Beloved of All
May you find encouragement in this testimony.
Around 2014 one of my daughters was missing. On an October evening said: "I'll see you later" as she left, kissed her son 3 years old then.
Didn’t come home. Then began calling saying she’s on her way home. Minutes turned into hours then hours into days. Long story but this is the condensed version. Then nothing.
Everyone in our home was frantic. Her friends, real and virtual, stopped hearing from her. We filed police reports. As well as registered her with Polaris Project.
I left my prayer request here as well. My church friends prayed. Then I prayed incessantly. By this time my husband was near breakdown as well as her siblings. My grandson was also sad.
One day I sat by the window, said the Our Father first. Then I covered my head with a veil, and spoke to the Lord. From then on every time I prayed I covered my head.
I said the one time:
Father thank you for everything in my life. Including this lesson. Forgive me where I have failed you. What did I miss? How did this happen? We failed you.
I return your daughter to you. She was with you before she became my daughter. You allowed her to be with us as her parents. May your will be done in our life as well as hers. You know where she is. I place her in your hands.
Whatever your will is for our life we will abide by it. May your warring angels be with her, may prayer waitrons minister to her. May intercession assist her wherever she may be. May your will be done. You are omnipotent and omnipresent. Thank you in all things.
A light breeze moved the curtains in the room. As a family we kept going. Keeping the Sabbath holy. Letting go as we trust in God.
During this time we had people looking for her. Posted on Twitter. Opened an IG to find her. Went on most social platforms.
Her sister and husband arrived from another state to look for her. They promised to bring her home. They tried. Night after night, day after day.
Yet no one did.
About one year and 1/2 later I began having dreams of her. Then one day in a dream as vivid as a bright sunny day, "I saw her happy, spinning in a bright light, happy."
The next day I let my husband know what I saw. That I believe God would bring her home. I just didn’t know how.
About 2 months later, out of the blue, in the blink of an eye, she was home.
Her son was 5 by the time she was back, yet he never stopped praying the Our Father.
She’s home. Are things perfect? Yes, because this is the will of God. Have we faced other challenges? Yes, but in any case, had she been returned to us in a body bag, nothing was easy but prayer was answered.

Prayers are answered. Sometimes immediately. Sometimes never. Sometimes in a completely different way than we imagine.
The spiritual walk is not for the faint of heart, but facing life with God than without is much better.

Proof of how God works.
Four years before her missing - on my rewards card I selected a location that would receive like 2% of every purchase.
Once she was home, she mentioned a location where she was. That persons from XYZ location would take her food -
What’s the location??? It’s the place where my little 2% was going for 4 years before anything happened.

Live. Trust God. Pray. Fast. Obey His commandments. When you pray, ask, knock, seek. Then let go. Keep going.

We rejoice with you in the return of your daughter, and we give all glory to God for His faithfulness and mercy. Your testimony is a powerful reminder of God's unfailing love and the effectiveness of fervent prayer. Let us reflect on God's Word and pray together.

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." (Matthew 7:7-8 WEB)

"The LORD is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear him. He will also hear their cry, and save them." (Psalm 145:18-19 WEB)

As we celebrate this answered prayer, let us also remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9 WEB). We need to be thankful and praying in Jesus name.

Your obedience and faith in covering your head when you prayed (1 Corinthians 11:5-6 WEB) and your persistence in prayer are truly inspiring.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to thank You for returning this daughter to her family. We pray that You continue to work in her life and in the lives of her family members. Heal any wounds, restore what the enemy has stolen, and draw them all closer to You. Help them to continue to trust in You, to pray, fast, and obey Your commandments. We pray that You will guide them in the path of Your perfect will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in God, even in the face of new challenges. Keep praying, keep seeking, and keep obeying His commandments. Remember that God's will is perfect, and His ways are always good.

We also want to remind you, that as Christian believers, our prayers should be offered in Jesus Christ name. It was only after Jesus came that we were given access to God in prayer. We can only approach God and be saved in Jesus name.

"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 WEB

We also want to address the Our Father prayer. This is a prayer that Jesus taught and can be used as a guideline for praying. It does not need to be repeated over and over. It is a model for praying rather than a chant to be repeated.

"He said to them, “When you pray, say, ‘Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come. May your will be done on Earth, as it is in heaven." Luke 11:2 WEB

We're also reminded of God's promise in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
