Entertaining the serpent's instructions, or even carrying out your own plans, aside from God, can lead to city’s confusion, exhaustion, and even destruction. Running here and there; doing this ritual, and that ritual. Much Ado About Nothing. God's requirement of us is much more simplified. Jesus instructed His disciples to tell the people, who were following Him, to simply, "sit down on the ground," to be fed (blessed). His pleasure in our choosing the appropriate action, at the appropriate time, as Mary did, blesses even Him.
