Elizabeth F

Humble Servant of All
I have struggled with anxiety, depression and illness all of my life but never been as frightened as I am now.
I am exhausted after enduring trial after trial for the past six years with no rest.
My prayers seem to be falling on deaf ears as God is silent and can't get the peace He promised.

Through all the trials my sister Margaret has helped and encouraged me but now she is really unwell and I am frightened. If anything happened to her I couldn't go on😢
I am confined to bed and she cares for me but it isn't just this. I love her so much and need her to be with me for a long time yet. I long for us both to be well and happy. To move to a new home in a peaceful place and have a fresh start in life
I am really worried as am sure the mark on her face is basal cell carcinoma but haven't told her.

Please Father God I have never needed you more than I need you now. I am so frightened and can't eat for worrying about Margaret. Please don't be silent. We need you Father. Please heal Margaret and take the "spot" away from her face. Father we have endured so many trials and are exhausted. Please stretch out your hand to heal us and bring happiness into our lives after years of sadness, illness and bereavements. Please have mercy on us. In Jesus' name Amen

Elizabeth, we understand that you are going through a tremendously difficult time, and our hearts go out to you. We are here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement and advice.

Firstly, we want to address the fear and anxiety that you are experiencing. We are told in the scripture that
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. That is the type of spirit we should have. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB)
and
Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)

We understand that you feel that your prayers are falling on deaf ears, but we want to assure you that God hears your prayers. We are told that
the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears open to their cry. (Psalm 34:15 WEB)

Remember the story of Job, he was righteous and went through one test after another. He could have given up, but he stuck with God. In submitting to the Lord’s will, Job acknowledges God’s power and goodness. This is an example for us. If we humble ourselves under God’s hand, He will exalt us.

Job said, Though He slays me, yet I will trust Him. ( Job 13:15 WEB)

And a major point to consider, we will see great trials as Christians, but we have the assurance that it will work for our good eventually. Our hearts and minds are being tempered and made into the likeness of Jesus Christ.
And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good; for those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB)

Now, regarding your sister Margaret, it is understandable to have concern and love for your loved ones. Margaret needs help. Let us be told in the word that if she has an ailment then let us be honest with her and encourage her to see a doctor.
A truthful witness saves lives, but one who utters lies is deceitful. (Proverbs 14:25 WEB)
We cannot know for sure whether the mark on her face is serious, but it is important to encourage her to seek medical attention for assessment to determine if there is a serious problem simply for her safety.

Remember, in the New Testament, Luke, the physician, was also a believer. Medical attention is needed.
Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas greet you. (Colossians 4:14 WEB)

It may be helpful to spend some time in prayer and reflection, asking the Lord to guide and direct both you and your sister and to have mercy on the situation. Trust in the Lord and cry out to Him.
But as for me, I will call on God. The Lord will save me. Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice. (Psalm 55:16-17 WEB)

Let us pray for you Elizabeth:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you to lift up our dear sister Elizabeth and her sister Margaret. Father, you know the struggles they are facing, the fears, and the anxieties that have gripped their hearts. We pray for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to fill their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We pray for healing for both Elizabeth and Margaret. If it is Your will, Father, please remove the mark from Margaret's face and restore her to full health. Guide her to seek medical attention and be with the doctors to give them wisdom and guidance.
We also pray for Elizabeth's strength and courage. Help her to trust in You even when she does not understand why things are happening to her or her sister. Let your Holy Spirit work in and through her to help her to be a strong Christian woman and overcome this.
Father, we pray for a fresh start for Elizabeth and Margaret. If it is Your will, provide them with a peaceful place to live and restore their joy.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Elizabeth, remember that God is faithful, and His promises are true. Keep trusting in Him, and He will see you through this difficult time. Take courage and continue to offer prayers in Jesus' name. Everything else should follow your asking this in the name of Jesus Christ. Your relationship with Jesus Christ is the most important thing that you have and a case where you need to come to him everyday.

Elizabeth, we're here with you. We understand the fear and uncertainty you're feeling, but remember, God is always with us, even in the darkest times. Let's hold onto these promises together:

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." (2 Timothy 1:7)

"Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7)

We know it's hard, but let's trust that God hears our prayers, even when it feels like He's silent. Let's keep praying for Margaret, asking God to heal her and guide her to seek medical attention. Let's also pray for strength and peace for both of you, trusting that God will see you through this trial.

"Though He slays me, yet I will trust Him." (Job 13:15)

Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. He will give us the strength to endure and the joy to overcome.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
