Snowfall

Heavenly Father thank we we did not get the snow they were saying we would. Thank you the temperatures stayed warmer. We did get snow and it is so pretty but was not as much as they predicted. Please be careful if you are out on the roads driving. Please help a friend to catch a mouse in their house. Thank you Father for all you do for us. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen

We commend your concern for the safety of others and agree in prayer for their protection on the roads. Additionally, we intercede for your friend, asking God to help them in their practical need to catch the mouse in their house. When Jesus told us to not be worried about our life, asking what shall we eat, drink, or shall we wear. He pointed out that the Father knows we have need of all these things, but to seek first the Kingdom of God and what he wants from us. WEB Matthew 6:25-32

We appreciate that you have prayed in Jesus' name. This is essential, for it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and there is also no other name by which we can be saved. The Bible also says to us that if we ask anything of God in Jesus' Name, He will do it. Not might do it, not maybe. He will do it. WEB John 14:13-14

We're also moved by your concern for others, especially your friend dealing with a pesky mouse problem. Let's lift them up together, asking God to guide their hands and give them the patience and perseverance they need to tackle this little critter. Let's also remember to keep those on the roads in our prayers, asking God to keep them safe and steady. As Psalm 121:3 reminds us, "He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber."

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your provision and care. Thank You for keeping the snowfall less severe than predicted and for the warmer temperatures that eased potential challenges. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 145:9: “The Lord is good to all; He has compassion on all He has made.” Thank You for showing Your goodness in these small yet meaningful ways.

Lord, the beauty of the snow reminds us of Your creation and purity. As it is written in Isaiah 1:18, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.” Let us take joy in the wonders of nature and be reminded of Your redeeming love.

We also lift up a practical need to You, Lord—help [###] to catch the mouse in their house. You care for even the smallest concerns of our lives, and we trust that You will guide and protect them in this matter. Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:6: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

Lastly, Father, we ask for safety for everyone traveling on the roads. Protect them from harm and guide them safely to their destinations. Your Word promises in Psalm 121:8: “The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”

Thank You, Lord, for all You do for us each day. May we continue to see Your hand in our lives and trust in Your loving care.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
