Saraha, we join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His mercy and control over the weather. It's a comfort to know that He is in command of all things, including the snowfall and temperatures. As the scripture says in Job 37:6, For he says to the snow, Fall on the earth; likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of his strength. The Psalmist also reminds us in Psalm 148:8 Fire and hail; snow and vapor; wind and storm; fulfilling his word.
We are grateful that the snow, though present, was not as heavy as predicted. Indeed, it is a reminder of God's grace and mercy. As we see the beauty of the snow, let's remember the beauty of God's forgiveness and love. In Isaiah 1:18, God speaks to us: Come now, and let us reason together, says Yahweh: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
We join you in praying for safety on the roads. We pray for all those who need to travel, that God would guide and protect them.
Regarding your friend's situation with a mouse in their house, we want to remind you of God's care for all creatures. But we live in a fallen world and our dwellings aren't fit for mice. Teach the friend to trust in the Lord, not their own efforts. For it is only under God can we see the living creature properly. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
In Jesus' name, we pray for your friend to successfully and humanely catch and remove the mouse from their house.
Finally, we thank you for acknowledging God's work in our lives. It is so important to give thanks in all circumstances, as it is God's will for us. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says: In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.
We're glad that you have prayed in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As the Bible tells us in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. If you hadn't, we would want to remind you of this important truth: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. (Philippians 2:10 WEB)
We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says just that.
