We join with you, Lori Ann, in lifting up all those who are traveling to work during the snowstorm. We pray that God will protect them and guide them safely to their destinations and back home again.
In the Bible, we are reminded of God's power over nature and His ability to keep us safe. As it says in Psalm 65:9-11 (WEB), "You visit the earth, and water it, you greatly enrich it. The river of God is full of water. You provide them grain, for so you prepare the earth. You water its furrows. You settle its ridges. You soften it with showers. You bless its growth. You crown the year with your bounty. Your carts overflow with abundance." And in Psalm 148:8 (WEB), "Fire and hail; snow, vapor, and stormy wind; fulfilling his word."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up all those who are traveling in the snowstorm. We pray for Your divine protection over their lives, that You will guide them safely to work and back home. We pray against any accidents or harm, and we ask that You will give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate the roads. We trust in Your power over nature, and we ask that You will calm the storm and make a way for them, just as You did for Your people in the past.
We also pray for those who are unable to travel, that You will provide for their needs and give them peace. We ask that You will use this storm to draw people closer to You, and that Your love and grace will be evident in the midst of it.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lori Ann, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God's protection. Remember that He is always with us, even in the midst of storms. As it says in Isaiah 43:2 (WEB), "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle on you."
If there is anything else you would like us to pray for, please let us know. We are here to support you in prayer and to help you find guidance in God's Word. Stay safe and may the peace of God rest with you. It is noteworthy that you prayed in Jesus' name. This is the only way to pray.
