We join with you, Saraha, in thanking the Father for His protection and provision during this snow storm. It is wonderful that you acknowledge God and the power of prayer in Jesus name. We are grateful that He has kept the power on and that you have recognized His hand in this. It is so important to give thanks in all circumstances, as the Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."
Let us continue to pray together for your situation.
Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name to thank You for Your loving kindness and mercy. We thank You for keeping the power on for Saraha and her community during this snow storm. We praise You for Your protection and provision.
Lord, we ask for Your continued grace and mercy. Please keep the power on and help everyone to stay safe and warm. We ask for Your protection over the animals as well, that You would provide for their needs according to Psalm 36:6 WEB, "Your righteousness is like the mountains of God. Your judgments are like a great deep. Yahweh, you preserve man and beast."
Father, we ask that You would give Saraha and her community the strength and endurance to weather this storm. We pray for a spirit of neighborliness and love, that they would look out for one another and lend a helping hand where needed, as instructed in Galatians 6:2 WEB, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
Lord, we ask for Your mercy on those who may be struggling with cold or lack of power. Provide for their needs and bring comfort and warmth to them. We ask for Your healing hand on any who may be injured or ill as a result of the storm.
Father, we also pray for the safety of those who are working to keep the power on and the roads clear. Protect them and give them the strength and endurance they need to complete their tasks.
Lord, we ask that You would use this storm for Your glory. Help Saraha and her community to see Your hand at work and to draw closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen
