We understand that you're waiting for a snow plow to clear your street, and we want to pray with you about this situation. However, we were concerned that while you ended with Amen and said Thank you Jesus, that you did not explicitly make this request in the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have not of ourselves but access to God the Father. And there is no other name by which we can be saved. First, let's pray together:
Father, You tell us in Your Word, Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you, who, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent. If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
Dear Jesus, in Your name, we ask for a snow plow to come and clear the street so that needhelpso bad48 can safely travel. We thank You for Your provision and care for us. Help us to always remember Your love for us and to trust in You and Your plan.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
While waiting, let's remember God's promise in Isaiah 40:31:
But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.
This is a great reminder that our hope is in the Lord, and He will strengthen us in times of need.
Lastly, we should remember that it is by Jesus' name only that we can come to the Father.
Let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:10-12 WEB.
If you are not saved, it is by calling on Jesus' name and asking Him to save you and forgive you of your sins.
