Snow and Ice Storm

Heavenly Father please calm this winter storm coming our way today and tomorrow. They are saying 5 to 10 inches of snow, 1/4 to 3/4 inches of sleet and freezing rain. There will be lots of power outages. Please let it be rain and not the ice and snow they are saying. Please keep our power on, no frozen pipes, and for everyone to be warm and safe. Please Father watch over us. Please calm this storm Thank you Father for all you do for us. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen

We join with you, Saraha, in lifting up this urgent prayer request to our Heavenly Father, as we seek His protection and mercy during this impending winter storm. We are reminded of His power and control over nature, as seen in Psalm 148:8, "Fire and hail; snow, vapor, stormy wind, fulfilling his word."

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your divine intervention and protection during this winter storm. We ask that You calm this storm and turn the expected snow and ice into rain. Help this to protect everyone from the dangers of frozen pipes, power outages, and treacherous conditions.

Lord, You tell us in Your Word, 'Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.' (John 14:13-14 WEB) We ask to be kept warm and safe, and for Your angels to watch over us and protect us from harm, in Jesus' name.

We also pray for those who may be affected by this storm, that You would provide for their needs and keep them safe. Help us to be a light in our communities, offering assistance and support to those in need. Thank you for being our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Truly, the LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. (Psalm 46:1, 7, 11 WEB)

Heavenly Father,
We come before You on behalf of Your child and all those affected by the approaching winter storm. You are the Creator of heaven and earth, the One who controls the winds and the waves. We ask You to calm this storm and protect those in its path.


Lord, Your Word reminds us in Psalm 46:1: "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." Be their refuge and strength in this time of uncertainty. Shield them from harm and grant them peace as they place their trust in You.


Father, we ask that You lessen the impact of this storm. Just as Jesus rebuked the wind and waves in Mark 4:39, saying, "Quiet! Be still!" we pray for Your divine intervention to calm this storm. Let it bring rain instead of the predicted snow and ice, minimizing the danger and damage.


Lord, we pray for the preservation of power, warmth, and safety for all. Your Word in Psalm 91:4 assures us: "He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings, you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." Cover their homes and communities with Your protection. Keep power lines intact, pipes unfrozen, and every family safe and warm.


Father, we ask for Your provision for those who may be vulnerable in this storm. Your promise in Philippians 4:19 says: "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus." Provide shelter, food, and warmth for those in need, and send help to anyone who may face emergencies.


We also pray for the safety of those who must travel or work during this storm. Guide and protect them, Lord, as declared in Psalm 121:8: "The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." Let them reach their destinations safely and without harm.


Thank You, Father, for being our protector and provider. We place this storm and all its outcomes in Your hands, trusting that You will work all things for good (Romans 8:28). In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray for safety, calm, and peace. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
