We join with you, Saraha, in lifting up this prayer for the upcoming winter storm. We are reminded in the WEB "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. He prayed again, and the sky gave rain, and the earth brought forth its fruit" James 5:16-18 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Saraha and all those in the path of this winter storm. We ask that You, in Your mercy and power, calm this storm and turn the ice and snow into rain. Provide warmth and safety for all, and protect homes from power outages and frozen pipes. We trust in Your care and provision, and we thank You for watching over us. Help us, Lord, to be lights in our communities, offering help and hope to those around us. And in this circumstance to be able to give thanks, even in this trial, in the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
We encourage everyone to be a good example to others and a living sacrifice to God. Be a leader and light to others in your community and help as you see you are able. Be ready to give a reason for the hope that you have.
And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. Romans 8:28-29 WEB.
Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might. We pray that you will be able to lead others to Christ in this trial and help those around you.
