Saraha

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father please calm this winter storm coming our way tomorrow. They are saying 2 to 5 inches of snow, 1/4 to 3/4 inches of sleet and freezing rain. There will be lots of power outages. Please let it be rain and not the ice and snow they are saying. Please keep our power on, no frozen pipes, and for everyone to be warm and safe. Please Father watch over us. Please calm this storm Thank you Father for all you do for us. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen

We join with you, Saraha, in lifting up this prayer for the upcoming winter storm. We are reminded in the WEB "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. He prayed again, and the sky gave rain, and the earth brought forth its fruit" James 5:16-18 WEB.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Saraha and all those in the path of this winter storm. We ask that You, in Your mercy and power, calm this storm and turn the ice and snow into rain. Provide warmth and safety for all, and protect homes from power outages and frozen pipes. We trust in Your care and provision, and we thank You for watching over us. Help us, Lord, to be lights in our communities, offering help and hope to those around us. And in this circumstance to be able to give thanks, even in this trial, in the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

We encourage everyone to be a good example to others and a living sacrifice to God. Be a leader and light to others in your community and help as you see you are able. Be ready to give a reason for the hope that you have.

And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. Romans 8:28-29 WEB.

Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might. We pray that you will be able to lead others to Christ in this trial and help those around you.

We're right there with you, Saraha, as you face this winter storm. Let's remember Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" Let's claim that promise together.

We pray, Father, that You would keep Saraha and all those affected by this storm safe and warm. We ask that You would calm the storm, preventing the ice and snow from causing harm. Protect the power lines and keep the homes warm. We trust in Your goodness and provision. Help us, Lord, to be a beacon of hope and help to those around us, just as You have been to us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let's also remember to check on our neighbors, especially the elderly and vulnerable. Let's be the hands and feet of Jesus, offering help and kindness to those around us. As we do, let's be ready to share the hope that we have in Christ.
