We join with you, Saraha, in lifting up this impending winter storm to our Heavenly Father, for He is the one who commands even the winds and the waves to obey Him. Let's pray together and seek God's will in this situation.
Let us remember what the WEB says, But Jesus, awaking, rebuked the wind and the sea, saying, Peace! Be still! The wind ceased, and there was a great calm. He said to them, Why are you so afraid? How is it that you have no faith? (Mark 4:39-40)
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your mercy and protection over us and our community as we face this upcoming winter storm. You are the one who sends forth snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes, (Psalms 147:16) and we know that You are in control of every situation.
Father, we ask that You would calm this storm and minimize the ice and snow that are forecast to come our way. We pray that You would turn the snow and sleet into rain, and prevent the freezing rain from causing damage and power outages. Lord, please protect our homes and keep our power on, so that we may remain warm and safe throughout the storm.
We lift up those who may be affected by power outages and ask that You would provide for their needs and keep them safe from the cold. We also pray for our communities, that the roads would be safe for travel, and that any damage from the storm would be minimal.
Father, we thank You for Your lovingkindness and Your faithful protection over us. Help us to trust in You and to have no fear, for You are our refuge and our fortress. (Psalms 91:2)
We ask all theses things In Jesus' name, for He is the one who saves us and intercedes for us before Your throne. As the Word says, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, (1 Timothy 2:5). AMEN.
Saraha, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord and to rest in His promise to never leave us nor forsake us. (Hebrews 13:5) Let this situation be an opportunity for you to draw near to God and to experience His faithfulness in your life.
We also want to comment the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father and can receive salvation. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13)
Therefore, let us always come before the Lord with confidence, knowing that when we pray in Jesus' name, He hears us and is faithful to answer according to His will. And whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. (John 14:13-14)
