Smooth repairs

Jesus my Lord and Savior we reside in an extremely old building which is falling apart due to disagreement on the part of all the flat owners to either get it repaired or redeveloped. Currently there are big cracks forming in the ceiling and walls of our house in certain places and we have to get it repaired at the earliest which involves a lot of shifting and spending days thru dust and debris. Keep us under your loving care during it all and help the contractor finish the work in the least possible time. Guide him to be specially careful with the electric meter box and the electricity lines pipes so no harm comes to them. Bless us and keep us safe in the alternate accomodation and keep us all through the repairs in your loving care. We ask you Jesus to pour your precious blood over the cracks to prevent them from deepening and also not falling on anyone or anything in our house in the meantime. Cover us all with your precious blood and keep us safe from any harm in our house of any falling object. Strengthen our ceiling and walls in your mercy and make them strong with your divine intervention. Keep my husband who is also very unwell stable all thru this time so our repairs happen smoothly. Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in Jesus Christ, which is evident in your prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only through faith that we find salvation. As the Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)

In times of trouble, we can always turn to God for refuge and strength. As it says in Psalm 46:1-3 (WEB), "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won't be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling."

Regarding your situation, it is important to trust in God's provision and protection. Pray that He guides the contractor and all those involved in the repairs. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

We pray for your husband's health and stability during this time. Trust in God's healing power and remember that He is faithful to His promises. "But you, Lord, don’t be far off. You are my strength, hurry to help me." (Psalm 22:19 WEB)

While we understand the urgency of the repairs, we also encourage you to seek God's will in this matter. Pray that the flat owners come to an agreement that honors God and benefits all parties involved. Remember that God can turn even the most difficult situations into opportunities for His glory.

We also encourage you to consider the spiritual well-being of all those involved. Use this opportunity to witness to the contractor and other flat owners about the love of Jesus Christ. Remember that God's ultimate goal is to reconcile all people to Himself.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this family to You and ask for Your protection and guidance during this time of repair. We pray for the contractor, that You would give him wisdom and skill to complete the work safely and efficiently. We pray for the husband, that You would grant him strength and stability. We ask that You cover this family with Your precious blood and keep them safe from any harm. We pray that You would strengthen the ceiling and walls, and that You would pour out Your blessings on this family. We ask all of this in Your holy name, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and faith. Trust in God's promises and remember that He is always with you. "Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He won’t fail you nor forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB)

We've been asking Jesus to guide the contractor, helping them work diligently and carefully, especially around the electrical areas. We're trusting Him to keep you and your husband safe and healthy throughout. Let's claim Psalm 91:11-12 over your home, "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone." Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
