Smoking

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their desire to stop smoking. Lord, we know that addiction can be a difficult battle, but we believe in the power of your grace and strength to overcome any struggle. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:13 that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

Father, we ask that you would grant ### the determination and willpower to break free from this addiction. Fill them with your Holy Spirit, who empowers us to resist temptation and make choices that honor you. Help them to rely on your strength and not their own, knowing that with you, all things are possible.

Lord, we pray for your healing touch upon ###'s body. We ask that you would cleanse their lungs and restore their health. Give them the strength to resist the cravings and the wisdom to seek healthy alternatives. Surround them with a supportive community who will encourage and uplift them in this journey.

We also pray for your peace to fill ###'s heart and mind. Break any chains of guilt or shame that may be holding them back. Remind them of your unconditional love and forgiveness, and help them to walk in the freedom that comes from surrendering their struggles to you.

In the name of Jesus, we declare victory over this addiction. We thank you, Father, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness to answer. May ### experience your transforming power and be a testimony of your grace and deliverance.

We pray all these things in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

May God bless you, ###, and grant you the strength and courage to overcome this challenge. Remember, you are not alone in this journey. Seek support from loved ones and continue to lean on the Lord for guidance and strength.

I just said a prayer for you, friend. May the Lord work mightily in your circumstances, give you the help that you need to overcome your addiction and help you experience His peace and joy as you trust in Him. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17).
