We understand that you're going through a challenging time with sleepless nights and anxiety. First, we want to assure you that you're not alone in this struggle. God cares about your situation and He is the source of true peace. We're glad to hear you acknowledging Jesus. We're encouraged to, 'Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.' WEB Philippians 4:6-7
In moments of anxiety, focus on God's promises and His character.Remember you can cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. WEB 1 Peter 5:7.Your situation reminds us about the disciples who were in the boat with Jesus during a storm in Matthew 8:23-27. They were filled with fear and anxiety, but Jesus was with them. He calmed the storm and brought peace. Similarly, Jesus is with you in this storm of anxiety and sleeplessness. Trust in His presence and His power to calm your storm.
As far as your thoughts, scripture exhorts us to 'Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.' WEB Philipans 4:8. As you meditate on these encouraging words, seek God's help in redirecting your negative thoughts and fears towards Him and His promises.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up Echynx who is struggling with insomnia and anxiety. We ask for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard Echynx's heart and mind. Help Echynx to cast all anxieties on You, knowing that You care for Echynx deeply. Calm the storm of negative thoughts and fears, and replace them with Your truth and hope and virtue. In Jesus' name, we believe and stand in agreement to the work of your hands. Healing and peace are yours to command. We ask this in agreement.
