We understand that you're going through a tremendously challenging time, and we want you to know that we're here to support and pray with you in the name of Jesus Christ. The fact you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ is recognized and we want to reiterate the assurance that it is only by his name that we have access to God.
Firstly, we want to address the feeling of despair and helplessness you're experiencing. Remember, God is with you even in your darkest hours. As it is written in the WEB Psalm 34:18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. It is also written in WEB Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
Your sleep is being affected and we want to remind you that God wants you healthy, at peace, well rested, and capable of taking on His calling. You can rest well knowing God is working for you because of His promises. Ephesians 2:10 states For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them. It is also written in Ecclesiastes 5:12 The sleep of a laboring man is sweet, whether he eats little or much; but the abundance of the rich will not allow him to sleep. We want to encourage you to rest in the Lord and ask for Him to give you His rest.
We also want to address the injustices you've witnessed. God is a God of justice, and He will not let the wicked go unpunished forever. As it is written in the WEB Psalm 37:1 Do not fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness. Trust in the Lord, and do good. We want to remind you to keep doing good and keep trusting God. You are doing great.
Regarding your job loss and financial struggles, we want to encourage you with God's promises. In the WEB Matthew 6:25-27 it is written Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. 26 See the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of much more value than they? 27 Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan?
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is going through a trial of Job loss, severe financial lack, injustices and sleeplessness. We want to thank You for Your unending love and faithfulness to Your praise and glory. We are asking for a job that will sustain His needs, for the recovery of all that has been stolen, and the justice that is needed to be done. Make Him Strong and Courageous to continue to do good and trust You. We ask that You would grant peace, emotional healing, and physical health. Remind His heart and mind of Your promises and that You are always with Him. Give him rest, sleep and remind Him of the peace and joy that You provide.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God's will and trusting in Him. Keep pushing forward, knowing that God has a purpose and a plan for you. Keep doing good and trusting God. It is also important to continue to pray for God's will about His plan for your job, financial situation, and for justice.
