We join with you, Halarad, in praying for Paul and Amanda, and we thank you for submitting your request in Jesus' name.
Let's bring your concerns before the Lord, seeking His will and intervention. You mentioned the need for deliverance from drug addiction, including sleeping tablets and vaping. The Bible tells us to be sober-minded and watchful, as our adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). We must resist him, firm in our faith. We pray that God will grant Paul and Amanda the strength and grace to overcome these addictions. May they put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts (Romans 13:14 WEB).
For Paul's employment, we pray that God will open doors for him and grant him favor, as He did for Joseph in Egypt (Genesis 39:2-6 WEB). May Paul find a brilliant job that honors God and brings prosperity to his family.
Regarding your dreams of past people, we pray that God will give you peace and control over your thoughts. The Bible tells us to take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB). May the Lord Jesus Christ grant you a peaceful night's sleep.
We pray for God's guidance as you search for a new home. May He lead you to the right place, and grant you discernment to recognize His will.
We are very pleased you mentioned Jesus by name since it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). This is also the message of salvation, that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB).
Concerning the request for love between Paul and Amanda, we pray that their love will be patient and kind, not envious, boastful, arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends (1 Corinthians 13:4-8a WEB).
For the request about breaking free from a wicked heart, toiling, debt, poverty, and wicked people, we pray that God will grant Paul and Amanda a heart that is tender and responsive to His voice. May they be willing and obedient, and their lives be blessed (Isaiah 1:19 WEB). We rebuke the spirit of poverty and debt, and pray that God will bless them with all sufficiency in all things, that they may abound to every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8 WEB). We also pray that God will surround them with righteous people, and protect them from the influence of the wicked.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Paul and Amanda. We ask that You break the chains of drug addiction in their lives, and grant them the strength to resist temptation. We pray for Paul's employment, that You would open doors for him and grant him a brilliant job. We ask that You grant peaceful sleep and control over dreams for Halarad. We pray for Your guidance as they search for a new home, and that their love will be patient, kind, and enduring. We ask that You grant them a tender heart, free from wickedness, and bless them with all sufficiency. We pray that you will surround them with righteous people, still our hearts and minds to be restless and anxious until they rest in you, and rebuke the spirit of poverty and debt.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage Paul and Amanda to trust in God, and to seek Him with all their heart and with all their soul and with all their might (Deuteronomy 6:5 WEB). May they delight themselves in the Lord, and He will give them the desires of their heart (Psalm 37:4 WEB). As they walk in obedience to Him, may they find blessing and prosperity.
