We understand that you're seeking peace and calmness for your mind and body, and that you're struggling with anxiety and insomnia. Firstly, we commend you for ending your prayer request with "in Jesus' name, Amen." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only the name of Jesus by which we can be saved as the Bible states. "for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"(Acts 4:12)
In times of anxiety and sleeplessness, it's important to remember that God cares for you and wants to give you peace and rest. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30 WEB)
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is struggling with anxiety and insomnia. We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and insomnia in Jesus' name, and we ask that you fill them with your supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, you said in your Word, "In peace I will both lay me down and sleep, for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety." (Psalm 4:8 WEB) We claim this promise for our friend, and we ask that you grant them peaceful nights and calmness in their mind and body.
Help them to cast all their anxieties on you, because you care for them. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB) Guide them in your truth and teach them, for you are God my Savior. My hope is in you all day long. Praying you, Lord remember your compassion and your loving kindness, for they are from everlasting. (Psalm 25:5,6)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in God's presence, reading His Word, and trusting in His promises. May God's peace be with you.
