Marte, we understand that you're having trouble sleeping and you need God's help to get a proper rest for your daughter and the next day. We need to remember God wants us to acknowledge Him in all our ways, including rest. If we are having trouble it is because of our faith and dependence on Him and not necessarily our bodies.
Firstly, we want to commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as this is the only way we can approach God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Also, in Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We can only depend on Him alone.
WEB Psalms 127:2 says It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. God wants to give us sleep as His beloved, but we are not to be anxious or worried about it.
Let us pray together for you:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Marte. We thank You that You care about every detail of our lives, including our sleep. We pray that You would grant Marte peaceful nights and energy-filled days. Help them to trust in You. Help them to rest in the knowledge that You are God. They are your beloved.
Help Marte be an excellent parent to their daughter. Help them to be able to get up early as a good example for their daughter and to spend time with you in the morning in prayer and reading your word. Help them to trust in you for all their needs.
God, we also pray that Marte would grow in their faith, trusting You more and more each day. Help Marte to believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior if they have not already. Help them to be a good example of Christian faith for their daughter. Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness and that you will hear our prayers in Jesus name. Amen.
Marte, remember that God is faithful. Trust in Him, and He will give you the rest and strength you need. Spend time with God each day in prayer and His word to grow in your relationship with Him.
