We join with you, Saraha, in liftinig up everyone who needs peaceful sleep and good night's rest. It's wonderful that you included that this request is in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can experience true peace. The Bible tells us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up all those who need a good night's rest. We ask that You would grant them peaceful sleep, and fill their hearts and minds with Your divine peace. We rebuke any anxiety, stress, or worry that might be keeping them awake, and we declare that Your peace will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We also pray for those who are not yet saved, and ask that their hearts may be opened to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
We encourage everyone who is struggling with sleep to meditate on God's Word and to trust in His promises. Psalm 4:8 WEB tells us, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for you, Yahweh, alone make me live in safety." Trust in the Lord, and rest in His love and care for you.
If there is anyone who finds themsevles not able to sleep due to worries, concerns, or guilt, we encourage you to examine your heart and make sure you are in right standing with God. If there is any sin in your life, confess it to the Lord and turn away from it. Remember 1 John 1:9 WEB says, "If you will confess your sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Lastly Saraha, thank you for including "In Jesus Name." It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that God grants us access to His throne of grace.
