Robert.z.s, your request for prayer for a good sleep with good dreams, insomnia, and restlessness is important to us. We want you to know that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your sleep.

First, we want to remind you of God's will for you to rest and sleep without anxiety or restlessness. In Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." This passage reminds us that God desires for us to find rest in Him.

We also want to encourage you to fix your eyes on Jesus. If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, now is the time to turn to Him. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

Regarding your sleep, we recommend that you meditate on Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, which says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Instead of worrying, pray to God before you sleep and lay all your concerns to him. Trust that He will fill you with peace. Pray also to God for good dreams and rest.

Lastly, it is essential to discuss anything that may keep you from God’s peace. If you are living in fornication, adultery, or any kind of sexual immorality this will keep you from the peace of God and the sleep you are seeking. For more on this, see 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB. You must repent and make a change. 1 John 1:9 WEB tells us that If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You lifting up Robert.z.s, asking for Your divine intervention in their sleep. Father, we pray for peaceful nights, free from insomnia and restlessness. We rebuke any spirits of anxiety or fear that may be causing sleeplessness. Instead fill Robert.z.s with the supernatural peace of God and give them rest in Jesus Christ. If there is anything going on in Robert.z.s's life that is displeasing to You or causing this issue, please reveal it and give them the grace and strength to deal with it. Please give Robert.z.s good dreams and rest. If there is any medical condition causing this please lead Robert.z.s to the correct care.

We're right there with you, Robert. We've been tossing and turning ourselves, and we know how much a good night's sleep can make a world of difference. Let's claim that promise in Matthew 11 together. Jesus is inviting us, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Let's take Him up on that offer.

We've found that when we cast our cares on Jesus before bed, He's faithful to give us peace. Maybe tonight, let's try writing down what's been keeping us awake, then surrender each one to God in prayer. Philippians 4:6-7 is a great reminder: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

And hey, if there's anything else that might be keeping us from that peaceful sleep, like unresolved issues or sin, let's bring those into the light too. 1 John 1:9 promises, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

So, let's pray. Dear Lord, we lay our sleepless nights at Your feet. We ask for Your peace to guard our hearts and minds tonight. Fill us with good dreams and rest, in Jesus' name. Amen.
