We understand your need for a good night's sleep and your concern for your daughter's rest and success in school. Remember, God cares about every detail of our lives, including our sleep and daily activities.
In Psalm 127:2 WEB it says, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved." Also, in Psalm 4:8 WEB, "I will lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Gwenin and their daughter. We pray that you would grant them both a peaceful and restful night's sleep. Cast out any anxieties or worries that may disrupt their rest, and help them to wake up renewed and refreshed to do your will tomorrow. Furthermore Lord, we pray for Gwenin's daughter, that you would bless her studies and help her excel in your will for her schoolwork while becoming more like Jesus. Still any worries about their schoolwork or sleep.
Help them trust in you rather than worrying about these things. Finally Lord, help them also put their faith in Jesus Christ. As the other disciples said to John the Baptist in John 3:36 WEB, "He who believes in the Son has eternal life, but he who disobeys the Son won't see life, but the wrath of God remains on him." We pray this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
Rest in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers and cares for you and your daughter deeply. Trust that He is working everything out for your good and His glory. Continue to cast your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you all while simultaneously trusting in Jesus as your Lord Saviour. Additionally, meditate on His word and apply it to your lives. Do not only read the word but do what it says. As Jesus said in Luke 6:46 WEB, "Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do the things which I say?"
