Amvurk, we understand your concern and we are here to stand with you in prayer and counsel. Let us first turn to the Word of God for guidance. In Psalm 4:8, it is written, "I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety." And in Psalm 127:2, we read, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones."
Jesus Christ is our source of peace and rest. It is only through Him that we can find true tranquility, even in sleep. We must also address the spiritual aspect you've mentioned. In Matthew 8:16, we see Jesus' power over evil spirits, "When evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Amvurk's sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention. Please grant her peaceful sleep, Lord. Let her find rest in Your embrace. We rebuke any spirit of insomnia or any other disturbance that is keeping her awake and affecting others. In Jesus' name, we command any evil spirit to leave her body and never return. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let her find the peace that only You can give. We also pray for Amvurk, Lord, that You would give them peace of mind and reassurance that You are in control. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Amvurk, remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Continue to pray fervently for your sister and trust that God is faithful to answer your prayers. If you or your sister have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. It is only through Him that we have access to God and can be saved (Acts 4:12). May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We are here with you in spirit, standing in agreement with you in prayer.
