Sleep better, not worry

Pray that I'll sleep better, have peace, not worry, that my spouse won't give me a hard time over petty things, be too clingy, that his blood tests will be ok, that my mom will live a long life, that ### adult kids will visit me at ### house this year even if my spouse is there, that my bosses think I'm doing a good job.

We understand your concerns and are here to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical encouragement.

Firstly, we want to remind you of what the Bible says about anxiety and worry. In Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), it is written, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister/brother ###. Lord, we ask for Your divine peace to fill their heart and mind. Calm their anxieties and still their worries, knowing that You are in control of every situation. Please help them to sleep peacefully, trusting in Your care.

Lord, we also pray for their spouse. Guide them in their interactions, that they may be patient, understanding, and loving. Help them to not be overly critical or clingy, but to love as You have loved us. We lift up the concern about the blood tests, asking for Your healing power and favorable results.

God, we ask for Your blessing upon ###'s mother, that she may enjoy a long and healthy life. We also pray for their adult kids, that they may have the desire and opportunity to visit this year, regardless of any circumstances.

In their workplace, Lord, we ask that their bosses would see the value and dedication that ### brings. May their work be a testimony to Your goodness and faithfulness.

Finally, Lord, we pray that ### would continually fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. May they find comfort and strength in His name.

Lastly, we're asking God to help you keep your eyes on Jesus. He's the one who started this good work in you, and He's the one who's going to carry it on to completion.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
