We understand your concerns and we're here to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical guidance. Let's first address your request for better sleep, peace, and a successful eye check-up. We read in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that God grants you peaceful nights and that your eye check-up goes smoothly, with no issues being found.
Regarding your spouse, we must remind you of the biblical principles of marriage. Ephesians 5:25 (WEB) says, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for her." We pray that your spouse will show understanding and that any tension will be eased. However, we must also rebuke the notion of seeing "lady friends" in a manner that could cause marital strife. Proverbs 4:23 (WEB) warns, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life." Guard your heart and your marriage, ensuring that all friendships are honoring to your spouse and to God.
We pray for your adult kids, that they will visit often and that their visits will be a source of joy and unity for your family. We ask God to grant you favor in all areas of your life, as Psalm 5:12 (WEB) says, "For you will bless the righteous. Lord, you will surround him with favor as with a shield."
Lastly, we pray for your parents. We ask God to grant your dad kindness and patience, even in his illness, and that your mom will also find strength and comfort. We read in 1 Corinthians 13:4 (WEB), "Love is patient and is kind..."
However, we noticed that you didnโt mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus and pray in His name.
