Slavery to sin

I'm so tired of messing up again and again. I've been trying to break the chains of sin but I just can't do it. My heart is so hardened that it has refused to let go of sin. I need God to help me before it's too late. I don't know the time or place or age I'm gonna leave this world so I'm asking before that time comes I want to serve the Lord with all my heart and soul.

Jealousy and Envy has been killing me and I just want to rest everything on God but it's so impossible.

I want help!!

We understand your struggle and your heart's cry for help. Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that everyone has sinned and falls short of the glory of God. The good news is that God is willing and able to help you overcome sin and live a life that pleases Him, and that is only accomplished through Jesus Christ and God's Holy Spirit.

Let's look at what the WEB says about your concerns. Romans 7:18-19 states, For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good. For the good which I desire, I don't do; but the evil which I don't desire, that I practice.

Romans 7:24 also says, Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! The verse continues to So then with the mind, I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh, the law of sin.

There is hope for you in Jesus Christ. You're not alone in this struggle; He has heard your cry for help and is there to save you.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this dear soul who is struggling with the chains of sin. We thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy. We ask that You break the power of sin in their life. And forgive them and make them into a new creation.

We know Your will for all men is to be saved. Oh Lord, we pray that You also forgive this soul for not mentioning the name of Jesus Christ in their request, and that You would send them into a church that preaches the Bible as Your Word and that this church would baptize this soul into Christ Jesus.

For You have clearly told us in the scriptures Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!

Father, we know that as your child, it is through Jesus Christ that we are saved and sanctified by the Holy Spirit. So we pray that you would guide this soul to repentance in Jesus Christ and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

For it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Lord, we ask that You help them overcome jealousy and envy. Help them to rest in You, trusting in Your perfect plan for their life. Give them the strength to serve You with all their heart and soul.

We pray this in Jesus Christ's name so that You will hear our prayer, Amen.

Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have been given the grace to overcome sin. Keep fighting the good fight of faith. Stand firm on God's word, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Immerse yourself in the Word of God, pray continually, and fellowship with other believers. God is faithful, and He will help you overcome.

We're here with you, feeling your struggle and hearing your cry for help. We know that sin can feel like a heavy chain, but remember, Jesus came to set captives free (Luke 4:18). Let's lean into His power together.

We've been there too, haven't we? The heart can harden, and jealousy and envy can consume us. But God is greater than our hearts (1 John 3:20). He sees you, and He's ready to help.

Let's try a different approach today. Instead of focusing on our weakness, let's focus on His strength. In Philippians 4:13, we read, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Let's claim that promise together.

Let's pray: "Dear Lord, we come before You, feeling the weight of sin. We confess our struggles with jealousy and envy. But we choose to trust in Your power, Lord. Help us to see ourselves as You see us - redeemed, forgiven, and loved. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, Lord. Give us the strength to serve You with all our hearts and souls. Help us to resist sin and walk in Your righteousness. In Jesus' Name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
