Slander, libel and defamation of my character via social media

An evil person who has a personal grudge against me for no reason posted some really evil stuff about me on social media. It very hateful, spiteful, cruel, damaging stuff toward me. I'm grieved in my heart about the evil, spiteful wicked satanic things this person says about me on a daily basis. I would like to see some people who are NOT cowards stand up for me against the hate and lies this person says about me every day. A lot of people are cowards and they refuse to stand for me against this spiteful, hateful individual

We are truly saddened to hear about the distress you're experiencing due to the malicious actions of this individual. Firstly, let us address the spiritual aspect of this situation. We are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, as Jesus taught in Matthew 5:44 WEB: "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,". However, this does not mean we should be silent in the face of injustice.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up VictoriaJane who is being continually harassed and slandered. We pray for your divine intervention, that you would convict the heart of this person who is spreading hate and lies. We pray that you would give VictoriaJane the strength and grace to endure this trial, and that you would raise up courageous individuals to stand against these false accusations. We also pray for the person who is causing this harm, that you would soften their heart and turn them away from their wickedness.

Now, VictoriaJane, it's crucial to understand that while God calls us to turn the other cheek, He does not intend for us to be continually abused and slandered. There is a place for standing up for yourself, especially when the slander is ongoing and damaging. We can see here the importance in the name of Jesus Christ to be included. It is the name that is above all other names. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. The Bible says in Acts 4:12 WEB: There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

In regards to those who are afraid to stand up for you, remember that perfect love casts out fear. Encourage them with these words from 1 John 4:18 WEB: There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.

Lastly, consider the words of Romans 12:17-21 WEB: "Respect what is good in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Therefore if your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head. Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."

We are praying for you, VictoriaJane, that God would bring resolution and peace to this situation, and that He would turn this circumstance around for your good and His glory.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
