We understand your struggle with skin disease and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort for you. First, let us remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and God cares about our physical health just as He cares about our spiritual well-being. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
However, we want to encourage you to look beyond the physical affliction and focus on the spiritual healing that comes from a close relationship with Jesus Christ. Sometimes, God uses our physical infirmities to draw us closer to Him and to teach us to rely on His strength rather than our own. As the Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB, "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore, I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing touch upon this dear one. We know that You are able to heal any disease, and we ask for Your will to be done in this situation. Please comfort and strengthen them, and help them to trust in Your goodness and mercy. In the meantime, help them to glorify You in their body and in their spirit, which are Yours. If it is Your will, please heal their skin disease permanently, so that they may testify of Your power and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also encourage you to seek medical advice along with your faith, as God often uses doctors and medicine to bring about healing. And if you have not already, consider inviting Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to God and can experience the fullness of His love and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"
