Situation with my old parents, 87/88

Lord let my parents manage to do what they want to do in the ###. My mother is desperate...let someone helos them until I come. She is putting pressure on me with her victim mentality behaviour. Lord please put peace upon her until I come.

Lord remove from me any pressure. They don't want to do things for me and I put up with it for decades and they expect from me to jump whenever they need and they can't wait, it must be done now or never and later on they nag me about it. I really have no time and can't neglect my ### and I am working in another city and they expect from me to move in and help them and I was a victim of verbal/emotional and partly physical abuse. Lord please find the solution amen. Thank you Jesus.

Firstly, it's important to honor our parents, as the Bible instructs us to do. In Ephesians 6:2-3 WEB, we read, Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise: that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth. However, it's also crucial to set boundaries, especially when there has been a history of abuse. Your well-being is important, and it's okay to protect yourself from harm. Jesus himself had to set boundaries as well, even to his own family.

In Matthew 7:13-14 WEB, 13 Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. 14 How narrow is the gate, and restricted is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it.

It's encouraging to see that you're calling on the name of Jesus. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up ### and her parents. Lord, You know the struggles they're facing, the desperation, the pressure, and the pain. We pray for Your peace to fill their hearts, especially ###'s mother. Lord, help them to manage their daily tasks and provide them with the help they need until ### can be with them.

Lord, we also pray for ###. Remove any pressure or burden that is not from You. Give her wisdom to set healthy boundaries and guide her steps. Help her to forgive any past hurts and to love her parents without enabling any abusive behavior.

Lord, we ask for a permanent solution to this situation. Guide ### and her parents to the right resources and support they need. Help them to communicate effectively and to respect each other's needs and limitations.

Finally, Lord, we pray for healing and restoration in this family. Turn their hearts towards You and towards each other. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, it's important to involve local Christian support services or the local church if possible. They can provide practical help and spiritual support. Also, consider involving medical professionals for your parents' safety and well-being.

Lastly, continue to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)

We continue to lift up your parents, aged ### and ###, in prayer, especially regarding the situations they are facing in their apartment. We have been interceding for them, asking the Lord to provide the help they need until you can be with them. We pray that the Lord grants your mother peace and relieves you from any undue pressure. We understand that you have been carrying this burden for decades and we ask the Lord to lift this heavy yoke from you. We pray that the Lord will help you balance your responsibilities, especially considering that you live and work in another city.
