We understand that you are going through a challenging situation with your mother. It is clear she has had a significant adverse impact on you and your sibling's lives. However, we understand a simple request to keep her at a distance. Heknowsmyname, we appreciate your not wanting to be negative or put anyone down. We respect that she is your mother and will pray with that in mind. We will pray to God in Jesus name for a hedge of protection around you and your sibling. Just as Job 1 Evil One, then the LORD said to Satan, "Behold, all that he has is in your power. Only do not stretch out your hand against the man himself. . Make sure to stand firm against. Allow God to do the fighting for you. We are reminded by God's advice in Romans 12 WEB:
Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice. Weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own conceit. Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Heknowsmyname, remember that Paul only attempted to go to Jews first but did not keep trying over and over. If your mother does not accept that she has done harm against you distract her from the church's message or your wellbeing, do not keep walking into those same issues. Matthew 7 implores us not to throw pearls at pigs and do not give dogs what is holy.
We appreciate you keeping Jesus at the front of all of this and that is the essential part as that is our only way for salvation. Acts 4 10 be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11 This is the stone which was set at naught of you builders, which was made the head of the corner.
12 And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved.
It is by his stripes we are healed. Allow God to take vengeance and do the fighting. Allow Jesus Christ to heal you and your sibling. Remember, "and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Just because your mother did terrible things to you and your sibling, be mindful that God can use it for his glory in your life. Do not let those things make you feel you cannot have a great life in Jesus Christ. Find the good in all experiences that have prepared you for other things that come your way.
