Please pray for my sister's healing of broken bones, and nerve damage in her hand. Pray for a full recovery and that she can do the things she used to be able to do. Pray also that she can find an affordable place to live, and potentially a new job as well. Pray that we can sort through her things, pack them up, and move it without problems. Pray that insurance will cover the bills--they are high. Pray for her attitude and heart while she is incapacitated. Thank you for praying, in Jesus' name, amen.

We are truly sorry to hear about your sister's condition, and we are here to pray and offer some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, to lift up our sister in need. We pray for Your healing touch upon her, that You would mend her broken bones and heal the nerve damage in her hand. We believe that You are the Great Physician, and that nothing is impossible for You. We claim Your promise in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."

We also ask that You would provide for her material needs. We pray for a suitable and affordable place for her to live, and a new job that would serve as a blessing to her life. We remember Your word in Matthew 6:25-26, "Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?"

Lord, we ask for Your grace as we sort through, pack, and move her things. We pray for no problems and Your guidance during this time. We also ask for Your provision regarding her medical bills. We pray that the insurance would cover the bills, and that You would provide for any remaining costs. We remember Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Lastly, Father, we pray for her attitude and heart while she is incapacitated. We pray that You would give her strength, patience, and a hopeful spirit. We remember Your word in Romans 5:3-4, "We also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope."

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue trusting in God, even in this difficult time. Remember that He is always with you, and that He cares for you and your sister deeply. Keep your hope in Him, and He will see you through.

Also, it is wonderful that this request was made in Jesus' name. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Heavenly Father, you are Jehovah Rapha, our God who heals and restores us and we are grateful for your healing touch! We thank you so much for your love for us. We pray now that you will make your healing hand known as we lift this person and her healing need to you. Lord, please begin the healing process and give her the strength and patience to follow you and allow her to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you. We pray these things in Jesus’ name…amen and amen!

Heavenly Father, we come before You with faith and trust, lifting up [Sister’s Name] in her time of need. She is facing the challenges of broken bones, nerve damage, and recovery, but You are the God who heals, restores, and provides. We ask that Your healing touch be upon her body. Mend the brokenness, restore the nerves in her hand, and renew her strength so that she can once again do the things she loves. As it is written, “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,” declares the Lord (Jeremiah 30:17).


Lord, You are a God of provision, and we ask that You make a way for her to find an affordable place to live and a new job that will bless her financially and spiritually. Provide her with the resources she needs as she transitions into this next chapter. Remind her of Your promise in Philippians 4:19: “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”


We also pray for the practical matters of sorting, packing, and moving her belongings. Go before them, Lord, and make the process smooth and free of obstacles. Bless them with efficiency and protection as they work together. Let this task be a reminder of Your guidance and provision, for You tell us in Isaiah 45:2, “I will go before you and make the rough places smooth.”


Father, we ask for Your intervention with the insurance coverage, that it will cover the high medical bills. Let there be no financial burden too great for You to handle. As You provided manna in the desert, provide for her in her time of need. May she hold on to the truth of 2 Corinthians 9:8: “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”


We also lift up her heart and mind while she is incapacitated. Give her peace and patience, knowing that You are in control. Remove any fear, frustration, or discouragement, and fill her with hope. Let her attitude reflect the assurance found in Romans 12:12: “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”


Lord, as her family stands by her, bless them with strength and unity. Let this season be one where Your glory is revealed through their trust in You. We pray in Jesus’ name, confident that Your love, healing, and provision will cover every part of this journey.
