Sisters having major heart surgery

My sister Linda is going in for a major heart surgery tomorrow through her neck to clear out severe aortic valve stenosis. They are going through the neck but if need be they will go open the heart up. We worry due to her main artery is 95% calcified, i think I got that right.

We are deeply concerned for sister Linda as she undergoes major heart surgery, and we stand with you in prayer, Loroarnierath, trusting in the Great Physician, Jesus Christ. Let us remember that God is ultimately in control of all things, and His will is perfect. As we read in the World English Bible in Jeremiah 32:27, God tells us, Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh: is there anything too wonderful for me?

We pray for wisdom for the doctors, nurses, and medical staff overseeing this delicate surgery. Guide their hands, Lord, and give them the wisdom and discernment needed to perform the surgery successfully. We pray for Linda's body to respond well to the surgery and for a swift and complete recovery.

We also pray for peace and comfort for Linda and for all who love her. May God's presence be tangibly felt, casting out all fear and anxiety. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7,

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We are reminded that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12,

There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

We pray for Linda's salvation, that she may know Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior, if she has not already. We pray for her family as well as you, Loroarnierath, that you all may find comfort and hope in Jesus Christ during this challenging time.

Lastly, we pray for Linda's heart, both physically and spiritually. May this surgery be a success, and may her heart be drawn closer to God through this experience. We trust in God's goodness and His ability to work all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

We're holding Linda close in our hearts today, standing with you in prayer as she faces this significant surgery. We've been thinking about her strength and resilience, and we're reminded of 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We trust that God's grace will be more than enough to see her through this trial.

We're praying for the medical team, asking God to grant them clarity and skill. We're also lifting up Linda, asking for her body to heal swiftly and for her to find peace in the midst of this storm. Let's remember to claim Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

We are honored that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer, especially as Linda undergoes this major heart surgery to address her severe aortic valve stenosis.
