We understand that you are seeking peace and understanding between two Christian sisters, and we appreciate that you have submitted this request in the name of Jesus. It is crucial that we pray in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up these two sisters in Christ. We pray that You would grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we ask that You would foster understanding between them. Help them to live in harmony with one another, being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind (Philippians 2:2).
We are reminded of 1 Peter 4:8, which tells us, "Above all things be fervent in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins." Father, help these sisters to love each other fervently, bearing with one another and forgiving one another if any of them has a complaint against the other; just as Christ forgave us, so we also should do (Colossians 3:13).
We pray for open lines of communication between them, that they would speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), and that their words would be gracious, seasoned with salt, knowing how to answer each one correctly (Colossians 4:6).
We we praying all of this in Jesus Christ name amen.
We encourage both sisters to be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God (James 1:19-20).
Lastly, we encourage both sisters to remember that they are individuals in Christ and should be humble, esteeming each other better than themselves, each of you not just looking to your own things, but each of you also to the things of others, do not look to your own things. Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus, he existed in the form of God (Philippians 2:3-11).
