We join you in lifting up your sister in prayer, and we appreciate your heartfelt concerns for her well-being and spiritual growth. As we bring her before the throne of grace, let us remember that it is in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" and in John 14:13 (WEB) "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
Firstly, we pray for her salvation, that she may know Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior if she does not already. We ask that the Holy Spirit open her heart to receive the good news of the Gospel and that she may be drawn to God. For it is written in Romans 10:9 (WEB), "that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
We ask our Heavenly Father to be her guide and protector, and we pray in 1 John 5:18 (WEB): "We know that whoever is born of God doesn't sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn't touch him." We pray the Lord keeps her from temptation and delivers her from evil.
We pray for her upcoming court case, that the Lord would grant her favor and wisdom. May He give her a discerning spirit and a heart that seeks after Him. We ask that the Lord directs the hearts of those in authority towards her. In Proverbs 21:1 (WEB), we read, "The king's heart is in God's hand, where he desires, he turns it."
Let us pray that she finds the help she needs and that her life is transformed according to God's will. May He grant her a healthy, happy, and normal life, free from the bondage of sin and the influences of the world. In Romans 12:2 (WEB), we are reminded, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
We pray that her eyes are opened to the light of the Gospel and that she may walk in the path of righteousness. In Psalm 119:105 (WEB), we find, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path."
Together we pray,
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we bring our sister before You, asking for Your divine intervention in her life. Guide her, protect her, and let her know the love of God. Grant her favor in her court case, and deliver her from temptation and evil influences. Help her to find the help she needs and to live a life that honors You. Open her eyes to the light of the Gospel, and draw her heart to You. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen."
Let us encourage one more to remember the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. So we read in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
