We stand with you in prayer for your sister, seeking God's will for her life. We commend you for your love and concern for her, and we trust that God will hear your prayers. We want to remind you that it is through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our ### to Your throne of grace. We ask, in Jesus' name, that You would watch over her, guide her, and protect her from all evil and harm. Hold her hand, Lord, and direct her steps according to Your will. Open her eyes to see Your light and truth, and grant her the grace to turn away from any temptation that may come her way.
Father, we ask that You would touch her heart and draw her closer to You. Help her to see that she is a child of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. Cover her with the precious blood of Jesus from the top of her head to the soles of her feet, and may Your Holy Spirit fill her and lead her to a happy, healthy life, pleasing to You.
Lord, we also bring before You the court case she is facing. We ask that You would work in this situation for Your good purposes, and that You would grant wisdom and discernment to all involved. May Your will be done in this court case, and may it ultimately serve to draw our ### closer to You.
Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we pray, believing that You will hear and answer our prayers according to Your perfect will.
Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your sister, and we urge her to trust in the Lord with all her heart and not lean on her own understanding. Remind her that in all her ways, she should acknowledge Him, and He will direct her paths. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Let her call out to God for wisdom and discernment in every area of her life.
Rebuking:
Be careful sister not to put the LORD in your writing when addressing God. This is the Old Testament name for God and we are under a New Covenant with God. Under this covenant, we should address God as Father or our Abba Father in heaven. We are not under the Old Covenant Law anymore.
Romans 8:15 WEB For you didn't receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!"
