We are truly sorry to hear about the trial your sister is facing. We will lift her and you up in prayer, seeking God's intervention and guidance during this challenging time. We will pray for God to strengthen you both.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is a very present help in trouble.
Psalms 46:1-7:
1. God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
2. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes,
though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas;
3. though the waters of it roar and are troubled,
though the mountains tremble with the swelling of it.
Selah.
4. There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad,
the holy place of the tents of the Most High.
5. God is in the middle of her. She shall not be moved.
God will help her at dawn.
6. The nations raged. The kingdoms were moved.
He lifted his voice, then the earth melted.
7. Yahweh of Armies is with us.
The God of Jacob is our refuge.
Selah.
Our heartfelt prayer is:
Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved, lifting up our sister in Christ and her sister who is facing eviction and mental distress. We ask for Your divine intervention in this situation, for You to make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray for Your healing touch upon her sister's mind, for peace and stability to be restored. We also ask for Your provision, that You would open doors for a new place for her to live, and that You would surround her with caring and supportive people.
We also lift up our sister in Christ who is seeking to be a source of strength and support. We ask for Your wisdom to guide her, for Your strength to uphold her, and for Your peace to fill her heart. We pray that You would direct her steps, that she would know what to do and how to help her sister in this time of need.
We pray against any spiritual attacks or influences that may be contributing to this situation, and we declare Your victory. We also pray for the wellness check team, that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the urgency of this situation.
We know that all things work together for good to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. We claim this promise for our sister and her sister, trusting that You will turn this situation around for their good and Your glory.
We ask this in the mighty name of Yeshua, the risen Messiah, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to cast your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you. We also want to remind you of the promise in Romans 8:28: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working even in this situation.
Lastly, we want to caution you about the potential spiritual aspects of mental illness. While we are not saying that this is the case with your sister, it is important to be aware of this possibility and to be praying against any spiritual attacks or influences. Ephesians 6:12: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
Please keep us updated on this situation, and know that we are here to support you in prayer and counsel.
