We stand with you in praying for your sister, and we appreciate your heartfelt concerns.
Let us all remember what is written in 1 Peter 5:7
Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you
While praying, it is important to acknowledge the power that is in the name of Jesus. As it says in John 14:6,
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
And as it says in Acts 4:12,
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
So let us all agree in Jesus' name and pray together for your sister.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus to lift up the sister of the one who submitted this request. Lord, you tell us to cast our anxieties on you, and so we cast all of our concerns for her before your throne of grace. Watch over her, Lord, and guide her in the right way. Be her protector, and let no evil or harm come to her. Lord, shine your light upon her path, and hold every step of her way. Open her eyes, Lord, to see the positive changes you are bringing about in her life.
We also ask and pray for the ways of the world not to tempt her or draw her away from our Father's love. We pray that she will be kept from bad influences and know that she is loved and called by God to be holy. As it says in 1 Thessalonians 4:3, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality," We pray that this will also be her will as she seeks to live a normal, happy, and healthy life pleasing to God; that she will not be tempted by the lusts of the flesh or the lusts of the eye.
So we declare she is covered by the blood of Jesus and ask that you will protect her now, especially concerning her court case. Let every outcome be good and according to your will. In all these things we pray.
Now, we pray that this court case is not to bring about strife or discord. We pray that your sister is looking for ways to resolve this issue peaceably and with love if possible. As it says in Romans 12:18,
If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.
So let us not be a people that are always looking for wrongs to be made right by the law, but rather let us be a people that desire to do what is right in the eyes of the Lord in the first place, and so have no need of the law.
Lord, we pray that your sister will know that she is a child of the Most High God and that she is loved by you. Touch her heart, Lord, and touch her soul. Be with her, Father, and do not leave her side. Give her strength and encouragement as she continues a blessed life. We pray and agree on this together in Jesus' name. Amen.
