We stand with you in praying for your sister ###, and we appreciate your heartfelt request. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the love that God has for each of us, as seen in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB: "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Firstly, we notice that the name of Jesus Christ was not mentioned in this prayer request. Let us discuss and clarify the importance of this. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We read in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." This is very important and should not be overlooked. Christ Jesus is our savior and mediator to God, and we pray to the Father in His name.
Let us pray together for ###:
"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister ###. We ask, Lord, that you watch over her and guide her in the right way. Be her protector, and let no evil or harm come to her. Reveal to her that she is loved and is a precious child of yours. Hold her hand every step of the way, Lord.
We pray for her court case, that your will be done, and that you would open her eyes to any changes she needs to make to live a better, normal, happy, and healthy life. Provide her with the help she needs, and lead her not into temptation, but deliver her from evil. Keep her from bad influences, Lord, and let her know that you are always with her, every step of the way. Cover her with the precious blood of Jesus, in whose name we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to remind ### of God's unfailing love and faithfulness, as seen in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
We also encourage ### to surrender her life to Jesus Christ, and we remind her of the hope that is found in Him, as seen in Romans 10:9 WEB: "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Lastly, we encourage both you and ### to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, putting on the whole armor of God, as seen in Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB. Stand firm in your faith, and trust in the Lord with all your hearts.
