We stand with you in praying for your sister Chelsey, and we appreciate your heartfelt request. We need to acknowledge a few things before we pray. First, you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. Furthermore, in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 WEB it reads, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Also, we should pray and ask that Chelsey be committed to righteousness. We cannot ask God to simply make things go well at her court case. Whatever the outcome, God is in control and can even use trouble to bring us to Him and help us grow. Let us pray for her to open her eyes to change for the better and see the light of Jesus. We pray that she will live a happy healthy life, but most importantly, a life committed to Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Chelsey. We ask, Lord, that You would guide her and protect her in all she does. Shield her from evil and harm, and keep her from temptation and bad influences. Open her eyes to see the light of Your truth, and help her to make good choices in life. Give her the strength to turn her life around for the better, and help her to live a happy, healthy life that is pleasing to You. Lord, we ask that you convict her of any sin. We pray for a Godly sorrow that leads to repentance. We pray she receive salvation in Jesus Christ and is baptized. Reveal Your love to her, and help her to know that You are always with her. We pray Chelsey will seek Jesus in her life and learn to trust Him with everything. Be with her during the court case, and be with others involved to bring about a just outcome. We ask that Your will be done in her life and in this situation. We pray this all in Jesus name. Amen.
