Thank you, Glathuersin, for your prayer request concerning the protection of those in danger due to weather. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's divine intervention and safety for all those affected.
Firstly, we want to address the request to put angels around everyone in danger. While it is true that God uses angels to minister to those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14 WEB), and that "the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7 WEB), we must also remember our ultimate safety is in God himself. It is God who charges His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11 WEB). So while we can ask for angelic protection, our focus and faith must remain in God alone.
We also appreciate that this request was made in the name of Jesus. This is vital because, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). And "in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up all those in danger due to severe weather. We pray for Your divine protection and mercy over their lives. We ask that You would send Your angels to guard and guide them to safety. But most importantly, we ask that You would be their shield and their fortress (Psalm 91:2 WEB).
We pray for comfort and peace for those who are frightened or worried. May they find their rest and hope in You alone, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB).
We also pray for the safety and wisdom of the emergency responders and all those working to help others in these dangerous conditions. Guide their steps and give them strength as they face these challenges.
Lastly, we pray that this situation may be used for Your glory. That many would see Your hand at work and turn to You.
We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We encourage everyone to remain steadfast in faith and trust in the Lord during these times. Remember, that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Trust in Him, and do not be afraid.
Be blessed and keep praying, for the effective prayer of a righteous person can accomplish much (James 5:16 WEB).
