We stand with you in prayer for your sister Chelsea, and we appreciate your heartfelt request. We need to acknowledge the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and it is in His name that we pray. Let's also make sure that we pray for the right thing, and the right thing is God's will in Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we should pray for Chelsea's salvation and that she will come to faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior, if she isn't in the faith or backslidden. As it is written in John 3:16 WEB: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."
We pray that Chelsea will be surrounded by godly influences and that the Lord will guide her in the path of righteousness. As it is written in Psalm 1:1-2 WEB: "Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in Yahweh’s law. On his law he meditates day and night."
Concerning her court case, we pray that whatever the outcome, it will be used by God for His purposes and for Chelsea's ultimate good according to Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Regarding the temptations and influences, we pray that Chelsea will be strengthened by the power of the Holy Spirit to resist temptation and that God will provide a way out, as promised in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
We pray that Chelsea will make choices that align with God's will. The Lord will give her the wisdom and discernment needed to live a life that honors Him.
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, to lift up Chelsea to You. Lord, we pray that You will watch over her, guide her in Your ways, and protect her from evil and harm. Help her to resist temptation and to avoid bad influences. We ask that You will be with her in her court case, and that Your will be done in her life. Help her to see Your light, to know that she is loved, and to experience the joy of being Your child. Open her eyes to the changes she needs to make, and help her to live a better, more normal, happy, and healthy life. Provide her with the help she needs, and guide her to make good choices that align with Your will. We pray this and thank you for your love and grace on Chelsea in the name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for Chelsea and to trust in the Lord's faithfulness. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB: "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Trust that God is at work in Chelsea's life, even in the midst of difficult circumstances.
